Stephen's Story:
Stephen is an AI specialist who has worked on four of the leading LLM’s, including multiple contracts with Google during which he helped remediate Bard’s factual accuracy in a post-launch assignment, and helped teach Gemini to identify credible sources in Google Search to synthesize accurate, on-brand response to politically sensitive queries. Other contracts include vendors with Meta and Amazon for Llama 3 and Alexa.
He is currently the senior prompt engineer at Aquent, an industry-leading staffing firm, where he primarily supports the development and refinement of an AI tool in a major drugmaker’s marketing department. Stephen is also completing a post-grad certification in AI transformations at the University of Texas’s McCombs School of Business at UT Austin, delving deep into generative AI research with real-world datasets from Fortune 500 companies.
(You can listen to him talk about prompt engineering on NPR’s “Planet Money” right here.)
Previously, he served as a lead editor at RawStory.com, Progressive.org, Austin.com, and Free Fun in Austin, bringing a wealth of experience in content management, marketing, staff management, and digital strategy to our consultancy.
Fun Fact: Stephen enjoys cooking, camping, and customizing Volkswagens in his spare time, especially when his kid joins in!
